I smell like... what??

...she gave me the typical Costa Rican kiss on the cheek plus a hug (because we're both multicultural and blend our cultures). Then she said,

"you smell like a cow." 

I said, "I smell like a what?"

She repeated, a bit more slowly, "you smell like cacao." 

​LOL...I make my own natural, eco-friendly and healthy sunscreen using cacao butter! It was a sunny day, as usual, and I had put some on.  I was really relieved and  grateful to realize that I didn't smell like a barn or cow poop... more like raw chocolate.  LOL...  I love Costa Rica!

The other day, I was walking back home after working out in the Costa Rican sunshine, when I saw a little girl pulling an ergonomic pink suitcase-style backpack with wheels.  It said "princess heroes" on it, and featured colourful pictures of animated princesses.  I wondered if they teach girls now that they can be princesses and heroes, instead of getting old waiting for a man to save them.  .

* When I was small, the big neighbourhood bully began relentlessly abusing me. It went on for years


* By age 7, I became the fastest kid in my class! I could often escape the bully until... he hit a massive growth spurt in his teens. I realized I needed a train or a plane to escape him, so
* I worked all summer and made enough money to start traveling. I went on work exchanges and thanks to the bully, I learned to speak English, Spanish, French and German fluently.

True Story of How I Went from Broke to Earning $13,000 in ONE DAY

Years ago, I worked as a bilingual customer service agent in a job from Hell. Can you relate to any of this?  We all worked from home for one of the richest men in the world.  Customers yelled at us because they didn't like things the company did.  Managers used threats instead of meaning to motivate us. Work often left me in tears. 

Have you ever felt trapped in job you hated?  The salary was so low, I couldn't afford a good home.  I lived in an apartment building in Waterloo, Canada with a lot of students and an ear-splitting faulty alarm system.  In the first month we arrived, there was a real fire.  Whenever the alarms went off, I left the building.  One day, the fire alarm went off yet again during work hours, and I went outside to be safe.  They fired me for not wanting to risk my life for their mean company.  I was so broke, that month I went to a food bank. 

Four months later, I earned $13,000 in ONE DAY. 

How did I do it? How can you do something like that?  

The secret was an event.  Not just any event, but an event with a great title people loved.
